AeroClean Technologies, an air hygiene technology company, and Molekule, a market leader for premium air purifiers, have merged. The combined publicly-traded company, moving forward as Molekule Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: MKUL), will have the largest range of proprietary and patented, FDA-cleared air purification devices to address the rapidly growing global air purification market.

About the company
Molekule was founded in 2014 out of a critical need to address the adverse impacts of polluted air, a void in the market for purification, and with the goal of using the power of science to destroy indoor air pollution. Molekule launches its first medical-grade, FDA-cleared purifier, Air Pro RX. The 510(k) Class II medical device starts deploying to operating rooms and other critical or high-traffic areas in healthcare facilities for added frontline protection. In addition, it also meets all applicable performance criteria in FDA guidelines for use in reducing the spread of SARS-CoV-2 in healthcare settings.
Launch of Air Mini+
Molekule Air Mini+ arrives and immediately goes to work delivering particle sensing and pollutant destruction. With the new Auto Protect mode that auto-adjusts the fan to dirty air, Mini+ gives Molekule their clearest look ever at their home indoor air.
Air Pro gets to work
Air Pro launches for homes and businesses. With 3x more airflow, advanced particle detection, and the pollutant-destroying power of PECO technology, Air Pro finds a home in businesses, including schools, restaurants, and more.
Molekule releases game-changing virus results
Testing demonstrates Molekule’s air purification technology inactivates H1N1 flu virus & coronavirus strains. Testing was completed on bovine and porcine coronavirus strains and indicates up to 99.99% inactivation of viral particles with PECO technology.
Air Mini & Air Mini+: FDA-cleared
Molekule announces FDA 510(k) clearance for Air Mini & Air Mini+ as Class II medical devices for medical use to destroy bacteria and viruses. This clearance makes Air Mini & Mini+ Molekule’s first FDA-cleared products for medical use in the home.
Molekule unveils the new Air Pro experience
Air Pro’s latest update includes a robust suite of new features, including advanced sensing technology, an Air Score displaying a snapshot of users’ indoor air quality on the Molekule app and the purifier’s touchscreen, and the Auto Protect mode’s ability to respond to VOCs in the air.

Air Pro and Air Mini+ users can now see their indoor air quality over time in the Molekule app. Air Pro users can see 6 individual air quality factors or an overall Air Score and see changes in five minute increments; or swipe through to the previous four weeks.
