Indoor air quality

The indoor air quality tab allows you to see which pollutants your purifier tracks over time, going back as far as the previous four weeks, or zoom in and track pollutant trends in five-minute increments.

Outdoor air quality

See today’s Air Quality Index, top pollutants, pollen sources, and weather conditions, so you can understand the risks before you head outside.

Device control

Take control of your air quality and set fan speeds manually, or turn on Auto Protect mode so your purifier can react to dirty air.

You can download the Molekule app by going to the Google Play store (for Android devices) or the App store (for iOS devices) and searching for “Molekule.”

No. Everyone can use the Molekule app to see their local outdoor air quality, learn about top pollutants, see pollen sources, and check the weather, wind and humidity. But users who own a Molekule air purifier with pollutant tracking capability can toggle between outdoor and indoor air quality insights to get a holistic view of the air they breathe.

After downloading and installing the Molekule app, sign in or create an account and follow the on-screen prompts to add your device and connect to WiFi. If you have problems connecting, visit our Help Center to troubleshoot.

Molekule has introduced an air quality score o help users quickly understand and interpret their environment. The Air Score for Air Pro is an aggregate of the 3 particulate matter levels and chemical levels. The score ranks your indoor air quality on a scale from 0-500, with 0 being the best, and 500 the worst.

The Air Quality Index is the scale the Environmental Protection Agency uses to measure and rank air pollution levels. The AQI measures ozone (O3), carbon monoxide (CO), fine particulate matter (PM 2.5,) Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), and ranks the concentrations on a scale of 0-500, with 0 being the best and 500 being the worst. The AQI is associated with a color-coded number that indicates the warning level and advises the public on what kind of precautions to take.
