Two years ago, we launched our first product, the Molekule Air purifier. It was the result of more than 20 years of scientific research that my father, Dr. Yogi Goswami, dedicated towards truly changing the way we think about air quality and the air we breathe. Our customers have experienced the benefits of Molekule’s life-changing Photo Electrochemical Oxidation (PECO) technology since we originally launched, and I’m proud of our work towards fighting the human health epidemic that affects more than 140 million Americans: air pollution.
Over the last two years, we’ve heard from our customers about the benefits that PECO technology provides them on a daily basis; we’ve also heard directly from our customers that they are looking for a device specifically for smaller rooms in their home. Today, we take the next step in our mission of providing clean air to consumers. I’m thrilled to announce the launch of our new product, Molekule Air Mini, which is now available for pre-order.
Designed for rooms up to 250 square feet, Molekule Air Mini is ideal for smaller spaces like studio apartments, kids’ bedrooms, and home offices. Priced at $399, Air Mini is powered by the same patented PECO technology as our original product, Molekule Air, and is designed to destroy indoor air pollutants including allergens, mold, viruses, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the air we breathe.
With this launch, we have also deployed a new naming strategy for our fleet of products. As you may have noticed, our original device is now referred to as Molekule Air, which is priced at $799 and designed to purify up to 600 square feet of air, ideal for living rooms, master bedrooms, and family rooms. For rooms that are larger than 250 or 600 square feet, we recommend bundling a combination of products.
Whereas our original Molekule Air has two filters, a Pre-Filter that traps large allergens like dust and dander, and a PECO Filter that destroys allergens and microscopic pollutants, the new Air Mini has one integrated filter that combines the benefits of both into one filter. We rigorously and voluntarily test our filters with the most stringent labs in the country, across our claims including allergens, VOC, mold, bacteria, viruses, and ozone destruction; third party results have shown the effectiveness of our science. In addition to scientific research, our customer feedback has also shown the life-changing impact of PECO technology.
